Cryptic announced last week that the game team was working on a large patch with major updates to address as many of the issues as possible that appeared during the open beta. Neverwinter Drops Huge Patch
Class Changes: All classes in Neverwinter got tweaks and adjustments to abilities and feats in order to improve gameplay and balance out the classes a bit! Among all the changes, the major update is that the threat a Cleric gets by simply dropping a heal is now addressed! Previously, your cleric would stop aggroing in about the first 4 seconds of a fight, and them much of your fight would consist of helping to peel mobs off of them. Now, this has changed, healing threat is spread amongst multiple mobs to fix super aggro that Clerics have been experiencing in Neverwinter!
Companions: Companions in Neverwinter will now scale better to higher level content! Companions will now cause more damage when fighting enemies from a little higher level! Eldritch runestones now will stack their bonus properly in companions’ defensive slot!
More stable, prettier world: The game developer team greatly improved the stability and performance of many zones including Protector’s Enclave. Also, they get nice visual upgrade to many zones to enhance textures and visual quality of the game. Each zone also gets updates and improvements to quests, item locations and more!
Queues: Great improvements to queue system have been made! A replacement member will now be automatically found and replaced with the person of the same class as he/she left!
Auction House: The Auction House also gets a list of improvements, among which the big ones are additional sorting options, improved sorting function, and making sorting more intuitive. It’ll become more convenient for you to experience in AH and have a better than ever nice enjoy!
