Overview
This new module is live now, and players can experience the new Heroic encounters and open-world PvP combat as a mercenary working for one of two opposing mercenary groups, the Ten-Towners or the Arcane Brotherhod.
Besides, players can step into two locations to test their courage, Icewind Pass and Dwarven Valley. Certainly, each will offer players unique open-world PvP and PvE content. Moreover, they can challenge the evil wizard, Akar Kessell in a new epic-level Skirmish.

Before the release of Module 3: Curse of Icewind Dale, many details have been discovered, like pathfinder, Black Ice Shaping profession, Heroic Encounters and so on. Today, this article will give you some complements to the content of Module 3.
Players who meet the following requirements can adventure in the region of Icewind Dale.
1. Must be level 60 characters or higher;
2. Must have the third boon in either the Sharandar or Dread Ring campaign;
3. Must have a Gear Score of at least 10,000.
Besides, there is a file to record how players to enter these two locations in Icewind Dale. At first, players should talk to Sergeant Knox to get the quest, A Chill Wind. And then, they will be sent to Caer-konig, a small town in the frozen region of Icewind Dale, which becomes bustling because of Black Ice. After that, players can reach Icewind Pass, the first zone in Icewind Dale, which is threatened by creatures and barbarians coveting the new resource, Black Ice. Finally, after testing their courage, players will be allowed to travel Dwarven Valley, the site of an ancient battlefield and another source of Black Ice.
